Route 128 North to Route 114 East (North Shore Shopping Center) through Salem. Route 114 ends in Marblehead. Pass Salem State College on right. Enter Marblehead (Lafayette Street.) Go through 2 sets of lights, At the 3rd set of lights you will see Marblehead High School directly in front of you. Go through the light, up the hill and follow signs to the parking area.
Veterans Middle School, 217 Pleasant Street, Marblehead.
Route 114 East through Salem. Pass Salem State College. Enter Marblehead (Lafayette Street). Go through five sets of working lights. Pass Marblehead Fire Department on right and Marblehead Veterans School sits on hill on left. Pass the school and enter by first street on sharp left.
Village School, 93 Village Street, Marblehead
Route 128 North to Route 114 East (North Shore Shopping Center) through Salem. Route 114 ends in Marblehead. Pass Salem State College on right. Enter Marblehead (Lafayette Street.) At 2nd set of lights bear left on to West Shore Drive. Stay on West Shore Drive.
Go through next set of lights (West Shore Drive & Village Street)
The next two streets on the right (Clark Lane and Plotka Lane) come up fast. The third street on your right (a little distance) is Jersey Street. Turn right on Jersey Street, pass a private home and almost immediately take right on to access road which runs up to the fields behind the Middle School.
Gatchell's Playground
If you come by way of 1A through Vinnin Square, take a right at Mobil Station. Go straight on Tedesco Street to next light in Marblehead. Go left on Maple Street, past Glover School. At next set of lights, bear right on to Lafayette Street. At next set of lights bear left on to West Shore Drive. Gatchell's Playground is an immediate left.
If you come by way of Swampscott's Humphrey Street, follow until you come to split of Humphrey and Atlantic Avenue. Bear left on Humphrey Street. Follow to next set of lights. Go across intersection to Maple Street, past Gloer School. At next set of lights, bear right on to Lafayette Street. At next set of lights bear left on to West Shore Drive. Gatchell's Playground is an immediate left.
Seaside Park
Route 128 North to Route 114 East (North Shore Shopping Center) through Salem. (Route 114 ends in Marblehead.)
(In Salem on Route 114/Lafayette Street),
pass Salem State College on your right.
Stay on Lafayette Street. Lafayette Street continues into Marblehead.
Go through four sets of lights.
At the 5th set of lights, (Pleasant Street & Ocean Avenue) turn right at the Marblehead Fire Department on to Ocean Avenue.
Go one block to the next set of lights and turn left on to Atlantic Avenue.
Pass two streets on your right.
The park is on the right across the street from Star of the Sea Church and the Marblehead Police Department.
Salem State College O'Keefe Center - Canal Street - Map It
Take Route 128 to the 114 Exit toward Salem until you get to the center of Salem. At the set of lights at the Post Office take a right and follow this street 1 and 1/2 miles to the O'Keefe Center at Salem State College on Canal Street.
